This football Sunday really started like any other. I had brunch with Trav, Steph, Mary and Katie and The Other Place which is always filled with laughs and fun. After that Katie and I got pedicures and our nails done, I politely asked the cute boy that was doing my pedicure to change the channel to The Eagles/NY Giants game....and in doing so pissed off all the women in the salon. C'mon ladies would you REALLY rather watch Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood? Katie and I got to enjoy the game while getting our nails done which I have to admit was pretty awesome. After a quick detour to the Costco I came home and started The Chargers game I had been DVR'ing...ensuring not to miss a single play. I was filled with high hopes and the dream any fan has at the beginning of a game not destined to go their way. With a heavy heart I watched San Diego fail to progress towards the Superbowl...In Lu's words "God has other prayers to answer today".People are often confused by my love of football and especially The Chargers. No I've never lived in San Diego, but my beloved and moved home best friend is from there and what better reason can exist than that? I love the sport, I love the drama and more than anything else I loved the days spent with my best buddy, hanging out, doing nothing in particular. Friendship was always the goal football was just the catalyst. So thanks San Diego for the memories, and even though Luke isn't physically here to share it with we are always universally connected in the moments we spend watching the teams in our respective homes yelling at a sac, bad play, intercepted pass or Norvs love of the sauce. As for the actual sport there is always next year and for the record I miss Lucas, but I REALLY miss Sunday Ticket.

My laptop is on low battery, but I wanted to be the first to say WELCOME TO THE BLOG WORLD! You totally ROCK! I am so glad that I have the opportunity to meet you! I have to also admit ya lost me at the football...blah blah. Love ya though! One of these days lets go to a live game and then I will become a screaming crazy fan and you will wonder what happened to your friend Angie! Hee hee! YOU R Great!!
